By Week 14 of the 2005 season, the Indianapolis Colts were 13-0, and it seemed like nothing short of a miracle would prevent the Peyton Manning-led club from matching the 1972 Dolphins' undefeated record. As fate would have it (as it has since that fabled 1972 campaign), the San Diego Chargers, fighting for a playoff spot after having lost to none other than the Dolphins the week before, proved to be too much for the Colts in Week 15, and handed the powerhouse franchise its first loss of the year.
